Outram, John
   b. 1934
   Architect
   John Outram is an original and articulate architect, trained at the Polytechnic of Central London and at the Architectural Association, where he studied before doing apprentice housing and town planning work with the Greater London Council. After toying with high-tech, he set up in business for himself in 1973, since when he has developed a number of warehouses at Poyle, Middlesex (1976), Kensall Road, London (1982) and Aztec West, Bristol (1987). Other buildings include the Harp Central Heating headquarters in Kent (1984), a Sussex country house at Wadhurst (1986), and a pumping station for the London Docklands Corporation on the Isle of Dogs (1988).
